Instagrams & Milk: Summer Reminiscing

Well, according to my calendar and the cooler temps here in the mountains of Utah, it appears to be fall! The very best season. It feels so cliche to say that because, like, everyone's favorite season is fall. However, in high school when everyone's favorite season was summer, my favorites were fall and winter. I have never been much of a summer girl. I absolutely love parts of summer but when looking at the season as a whole, it's not my favorite. I don't like the heat, I don't like being sweaty, and I am not crazy about summer fashion. When I'm at a cookout, on a hike or swimming then summer is the best. But on an average day in summer, it's usually just hot and I want to sit by a fan without any clothes on.

But let me not remember the days my clothes stuck to my skin, or the days I dreamed about being at the pool instead of at the office, or the days mosquitoes attacked my legs. Instead I'll reflect on the happy things by looking at this amateur collage of all my favorite summertime Instagrams.

Summer morning runs. Swimming. Hiking. Sun-kissed skin. Monster truck shows. Amusement parks. Family gatherings. Four-wheeler rides. Fireworks. Yes, I'll choose to remember all that wonderful goodness.

I also want to add, I actually really love summer a lot. I think I was just bitter this year because it was so extremely hot. That is all.

Instagrams & Milk: Vegas In Instas

So ready for the weekend o'er here. Apparently spring break decided to come back and bite me in the butt. I think I'm still in Vegas mode. You know: sleep in, be lazy, go to the pool, stay up til all odd hours of the night. But I need to get back to normal mode. Wake up at 4:30, work, class, gym, homework, bed before 11. That sort of a thing.

In my first class today after I left work at the radio station, I could literally not keep my eyes open. During the fifty minute span of class, I kept fading off. Just taking a look at my notebook would give you an idea of how tired I was. Every bullet point starts with clear legible words and by the end, it fades off into scribbles. Those scribbles are the parts where I went to sleep. It was almost so pathetic it was funny. I would come to, look down, and realize my pen was moving across the paper, but I had no idea what I was writing. And that my friends, is why sleep is important. So I'll be catching up on it over the weekend.

In the meantime, here are some grammy grams from Las Vegas. . .

Happy Thanksgiving, folks! We are with my parents here in sweet Idaho. After staying up late whipping up pies last night, we all decided to sleep in this morning. Now I'm off for a family run and then it's time to make rolls. Oh, yum! I hope you all enjoy this day. May you be surrounded by all things and people that you are grateful for.

Sorry for the photo overload. Speaking of photo overload, I'm apparently running out of picture space on my blogger. So I'm turning to you experts. . .what do I do? Do I have to start paying for additional picture space or is there some sly action I can take to avoid doing so? I really don't want to pay if I don't have to.

Well, that's it. Username on instagram is @mrskellwell. Feel free to give me yours too because I do adore looking at pretty pictures. Now go on. Eat, drink, and be merry.
